School 33 Art Center presents My American Series: The Documentary Story Quilts of Dr. Joan M.E. Gaither, an exhibition showcasing the creative vision of artist Joan Gaither with the display of six quilts. Gaither’s working imagery and ideographs concentrate primarily on the history of Anne Arundel County and extend the genre of the story quilt to that of documentary narrative.

Saturday, August 14. Opening reception: Friday, June 18 from 6-9pm.
