Beginning in 2010, to show our appreciation for artists’ generous contributions to School 33’s annual fundraiser Lotta Art, an Exhibition Selection Panel selected three artists as “Best in Show”. Each of these three artists has been awarded a solo show as part of our 2010-11 Members’ Gallery exhibition season and will receive full support from School 33 in realizing their exhibition such as press releases, postcards, being featured on School 33’s website, and an opening reception that coincides with other major events at School 33 Art Center.
Additionally, School 33 Member Artists are eligible to apply for solo exhibitions in School 33 Art Center’s newly minted 500 sq ft Members’ Gallery. Only four exhibit proposals per year will be accepted. Each exhibition is selected by a rotating Exhibitions Selection Panel through an annual call for entry, exclusive to School 33 Member Artists.
To apply for a Members’ Gallery solo show you must:
• Be a current School 33 Art Center member.
• Not have exhibited in a solo show at School 33 in the last two years.
• Members’ Gallery exhibitions are intended to be self promoted and solely produced by the artist.
